Opened and sat in bottle for ~1+hr before serving. Coming after the '15 Thenard Monty (which was primarily oak-driven), this showed extremely well, with a beautiful & alluring bouquet of white-florals, peaches & light-touch of citrus/lemons. Expansive on the palate with good concentration (very much more controlled in comparison with the Thenard) and a delicious dash of salinity/minerality that followed, with a nice long finish. Great drinking!

2019 Philippe Colin FWSG tasting. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of powdery crushed rocks, some chalk, white peach, citrus lemon-lime, touch of honey oil. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of spicy oak toast, fresh juicy citrus lemon-lime, white peach, orange pulp, chalk, powdery crushed rocks minerality. Lon minerally spicy finish. Very good quality. Interestingly a lot less upfront oak sensations than the 2017 I tasted. Mineral + spice the dominant characteristics here, with a deep inner sweetness.
