  • Three hour decant. Very deep dark ruby magenta color. Blackberry, dark raspberry, crushed walnut, fig cookie, and subtle capers. Dry palate, with nice, slightly cottony acidity. Firm, lower intensity tannins on the longish finish.

  • 3+ hour decant. Very deep dark electric magenta color. Blackberry, plum, cocoa, strawberry cobbler, grilled lemon, and subtle gravel on the nose. Smooth, dry palate, with pixelated, tongue coating acidity. Very firm tannins on the long finish.

It’s been more than 9 months since my last bottle and this has improved. Lots of muscular fruit and great structure. It’s truly in it’s drinking window now.

  • Four hour decant. Very very deep, yet bright ruby magenta color. Blonde brownie, black cherry, underripe blackberry, and walnut on the nose. Smooth, dry palate, with some wild strawberry notes. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.

This has just entered its drinking window. It’s drinking well, but will certainly exceed this initial rating.
