Burgundian as all get out and just begging for some grilled duck, lamb or salmon. Spicy nose. Tart red cherry fruit with medium grippy tannins. Woody and briary. I agree with Meadows that the alcohol is probably higher than the label's 13% based on the flavorful fruit here, but I think the years have been entirely kind to this fine Pinot. An excellent glass, it kicked the stuffing out of an (admittedly disappointing) 09' grand cru Latricières-Chambertin I had recently.

Ripe blackberries and a nice bit of tannin structure still there for backbone. Had it with lamb (as one does). Eminently tasty right now. I expect this was closed up tannic-ly tight for years, but right now it is peaking and as Burgundian a glass as you could ask for. Get you some. This is good juice.

Nice color. Very interesting and evolving aroma. Brambly red fruit, spice, black fruits, hint of volatility and parfum. Substantial palate with plenty of fruit, mostly in red spectrum with some pleasant blackberry notes. At times hints of herbal aroma and flavor but pleasant addition, not a dominant quality. Near peak but still shows substantial life.

Sharp-spicey up front which softens on the back end on the long lingering finish. Still has some good tannins, would be interesting to revisiting in about one year. Nice wine,

A lighter pinot with a really nice nose of spice and cranberry. The flavor is bright with a nicce zip of acidity and a some lingering weight.
