93-94 pts. Very nice, red apples, fairly full bodied, lots of fruit. Only drawback was that already on day 2 it was starting to gently decline. Some more oxidative notes, was nicer on day 1 with more freshness. But overall another great showing by Bereche. Their Mailly GC in 2016 was breathtaking.

Really great bottle. Pure, dry, vinous, lots of spices, very much in the grower style, savoury, some bruised apples, not oxidative. A great vinous champagne to go with food.

This bottle is more like the one tasted in April 2021. Huge weight and vinosity, concentrated, nutty and spicy, very impressive. At Café Parlotte, Amsterdam, NL.

This was amazing. Changed over 1.5hrs more than any other champagne I've had. That's a big statement!
At first the flavor profile was wild. Started with orange zest, slight lemon, slight citrus, mandarins, peaches. Amazing balance loooong finish.
After an hour shifted gears. Now gobs of almond and marzipan. Yet the bouquet remained amazingly consistent.
After 1.5 hours.....apples, mostly apple cider vinegar!! WTF. This chameleon really messes with your mind and palette!
I saved half the bottle for tomorrow just to see what else is coming to the party. One of the most profound champagne experiences I've encountered.
Had the 2015 Bereche Ay last week. For me this blew it off the table. For my misses, she preferred they Ay. How bizarre.
