Day 1: Very decent considering price ($19). A little tight upon opening, softens a little in the glass. Dark fruit with a little pencil shavings on the nose. Early on, dark fruit, hint of cocoa in the background. I think it’s all/mostly Cabernet but it seems to have somewhat right bank blend characteristics. It might just be where my palate is this evening however. Decently long finish as well.

Dark ripe fruits, vanilla most pronounced on the nose. Pretty acidic w supportive tannins. The palate was similar to nose but more spice brought on from the oak.

A bit too much oak for my taste but a reasonably enjoyable midweek quaffer. Probably wouldn’t buy again.
