robe - quite surprised with the color in this wine. I was expecting a bit darker/ brassy color. it is very youthful and even pretty nose - at first this comes off very typical of SB, grassy, citrous and some steal. after about an o hour, this o5 was starting to express a 9 year old wine. it is hard to pin point but it projected this metalic, mineral steal like perfume. it was a very nice surprise for sure. palate - this o5 has been holding up oh so well with still good structure with mouth watering acidity and good length. the palate is expressing white citrus, blue mineral notes, even some fresh cute light herbs. Note - i bought this wine on release and it was stored properly. most people say this wine should be enjoyed young. on that note, i wish that i had bought more. this can easily go for another 3 to 5 years depending on how you like your whites. by the acidity in this o5, i would say if u have some open a bottle with some white fish and light cream sauce. that is how i enjoyed and c'etais formidable

Lemon on the steely nose with notes of shellfish, honey, petrol and slight wool. Dry and oily palate with mellowed steely acidity and some citrusy fruit; lemon rind to tangerine. Petrol, fennel and dried herbs. Seriously minerally. Peppery notes. Long. A really enjoyable P-F. Beautifully rounded over the years.

From 375ml. Light gold in color with aromas of citrus, apple, herbs and grass, smoke and a flinty minerality. Light-medium bodied with notes of white orchard fruit, honey, apple blossom and a smokey minerality. Good acidity, but definitely seems mellowed with age. Good length and overall nicely balanced.

This is somewhat subdued, but impeccably balanced. Has some pit fruit with a hint of bitterness that brings balance. It has aged nicely, but isnt vibrant at this point. Drink soon.
