Waxy lemon character with a fair amount of citrus body yet does not seem to lean out. A little bit of dried herb in the middle and finish. This period well with making my grandmother's Thanksgiving turkey stuffing which I have done for the last 30 years. This would actually go pretty darn well with turkey, but there are other plans! With the body that this has, I really would not be afraid to hold this for another 3 to 5 years at least. The QPR on this wine is insane to say the least, so if you're thinking like I did, you would think that this wouldn't have more than 1 to 2 years of shelf life. Oh how inaccurate that is!

Juicy, round, almost a little too weighty—bordering on flabby—but with a strong acid backbone that picks it up at the end and greatly improves the wine’s character. Apple and hibiscus on the nose with a whiff of petrol. Lots of green apple, lemon peel, and lime flavors. Long, citrusy finish. Not as lean, racy and exciting as my benchmark in the price range: the Huet Le Mont Sec from the Loire Valley. Still, a nice wine.

Had with fresh shrimp and veggie tray, interesting tart and sweet in same taste, earthy and balanced tannins that make for a long finish. Enjoyed very much

Always a terrific expression of Chenin Blanc from this remarkable winery, with this vintage no exception.

Crisp to the point of being forceful in its acid character, and all the better for it. Drinking great now, will go much longer.
