Very pleasant white that is surprisingly dry, with a clean finish like a good savinierres, and a worthy alternative to serve to the unsuspecting chard addict

The nose has lots of grapefruit and fresh grass, minerals and some honey. Crisp and very nice. The front palate is a bit anonymous. Then it grows in weight, and explodes in a medium long finish of spice and pepper. You can feel the alcohol (13,9%) in the finish, but it is not disturbing. The wine is not very acidic, but there is a linear elegance in the mouth that I find appealing. Definitely a would buy again at 22 $.

Best Chenin Blanc from the Foxen boys yet. Really good stuff. Tropical fruit all over the place with this wine and had crisp acidity that actually paired fairly well with the spicy mexican food I drank it with.
