PnP. ABV 14%. Clean and expressive nose, mostly flower notes. Dark and ripe fruits with enough acidity to keep it lively. Warm and spicy finish, partly from Syrah and partly from high alcohol. Big wine with fine tannins, felt more imposing than ‘18. Oaks still noticeable at backend, yet to be fully integrated. Decent showing but ‘18 opened last year was better.

Dense syrah pigment- iron and iodine too in its raw sanguine meaty nature along with tart cherries and rather prominent salinité - bitter almond at close - rich - fairly thick - tannins aplenty when searched for beneath the fruit and flavored body veil. Quite intense for a CdR - no surprise - having had the pleasure of tasting prior vintage(s) of Jamet’s regular CdR and the elevated further still CdR that this cuvee represents - Bravo!

This really tastes like a baby Côte-Rôtie. Classic nose of blue/black fruit, cracked pepper, bacon fat, olives, and florals. Clear stem character. Rich fruit but nicely savory, with plenty of relaxed tannin. Labeled 14% ABV but only a very slight suggestion of warmth on the mid palate. Finishes long with a sweet ripe note, betraying the vintage. Delicious. Not especially structured and while it won’t fall apart or anything I’m not sure there’s a lot of reason to age this.

WOW, even more concentrated than the colline Rhodaniennes, roasted meat, black olives... Very very delicious, super concentrated ripe red and black fruit, very silky tannin, almost Cote Rotie like, BRAVO!!

Rubino carico luminoso, violaceo. Naso frutta e fiori blu con spezie minerali, bocca succosa, fresca, fruttata e minerale. Piaciuto.
