Pinot Noir from vineyards at 2,600' in Mendocino. Aged 10m in French and Hungarian oak (30% new).
Pale ruby color. Earthy aromas of BBQ meat, compost, cocoa, bay leaf with hints of cranberry peeking through. Smooth and earthy on the palate: cranberry, olive, mushroom and dust. Medium-light bodied, with powdery tannins. What's there is nice enough, but its somewhat muted and lacks presence.

Pale ruby. Medium intensity aroma of raspberry, herbaceous. Dry, high acidity, low tannin, medium alcohol. Low intensity flavour of raspberry, cranberry. Very tart, quite acidic.
