Opened alongside a 2019 of the same wine, this is a degree higher in alcohol and feels drier. The day it arrived from Germany it feels like it needs some time to settle and integrate. The 2019 is more racy, but also rounded and supple. The 2020 actually seems a bit more concentrated and intense, more green fruits and less stone fruit, but texturally more different, angular. Will be good to revisit this pair in a few months.

Tasted PnP. Absolutely terrific balance, plenty of acidity, but without losing oomph. I wish I had more of these.

Sour with bright fruits. Not what I hoped for, Mosel Riesling is a lot better!
