First try we gave it one hour of air and liked it though it wasn't as fruit forward or just plain interesting as we had hoped. After sitting on nitrogen for a few days (experience indicates that the minute amount of air that gets in gives the wine a super-slow ox), a straight pour with no air was fantastic. There it was more of a mellow, Old World experience. Delicious mulled red fruit and mellow. Silky viscosity. So, either give it more than an hour of air or let it sit for another year or two.

PNP - clear red color. On nose, cranberry, forest floor / stems, strawberry. On palate, similar flavor profile with medium body, medium acidity, low tannins and very long, juicy finish. 92-93 range. Would buy again.

Youthful, fresh, vibrant high toned bing cherry red fruit. Firm structure on the backend that will soften with aeration or a few more years of age. Consistent with the profile of a California Pinot.

The pinot that trends toward a cab, in a good way, rich in flavor and color, great stand alone, but hold up to miso sauce The wine looks ruby colored. It smells like strawberry jam and red currant. It tastes like stoniness and red currant. The body is medium/full.
