First off, this isn't corked and it was stored properly. The nose is mostly alcohol, as though someone empohalf the bottle and poured in cheap vodka to make it full again. Fruit when it comes is intermittent. Sometimes raspberry, most times a burning alcohol. This has happened with other Willamette Pinots and is one of the reasons I don't buy them anymore. On this bottle it is egregious. Tried decanting for a time. Still a lot of the same issues.

This is an exquisite example of what Oregon Pinot can be. Literally smells of roses; gentle up front with a filling out of dark red fruit. Tannin kicks in late, not too strong. Light-bodied throughout. Finish is warm and long. Outstanding.

Not terribly complex, cherries, touch of earth. Fruit forward but very enjoyable. Started with a 2 hour decant and it continued to get better while drinking it for the next few hours following that.

Expressive nose, bright red fruit, a little rose petal, then richness of some earth and funk on day 2. Some brambles fruit and a lifted finish. Definitely buy again.
