  • In my limited experience easily one of the best bottles of wine I have ever consumed. Right out of the bottle black fruit and cherry. Smooth as silk but yet very rich and it only got better over the 3-4 hours we enjoyed it. If this wine is still considered too young and will only get better I would imagine that is what a perfect wine would taste like. Lucky me I have 2 more. Expensive yes but well worth it.

  • Decanted for ~3-hrs prior to serving (blind) - 1st of 10 wines (reds). This was attractive right out of the gates - beautiful aromas of blackberries/cherries, herbs, bits of smoke & tar. Velvety & elegant, this caressed the palate softly but with a lot of class & nuances. Finished fresh & long. A very impressive showing for such a young wine! Finished amongst my Top 3 wine of the evening... Just great!
