Grand Cru Shiraz (The four seasons hotel, the rocks, sydney): More red than black fruit; especially compared to the Two Hands and the Head. Shows a little cherry as well as a touch of mint, plain chocolate, a little fruit sweetness, chalky tannins, slightly sour, alcohol warmth. Nah.

Wow - the spicy and floral viognier is really apparent here. Such wonderful and skilled wine making. Thoroughly enjoyed this. More muscular and big than say Clonakilla, but wow, great length and concentration. Kept the fruit just fresh enough to keep things elevated. Well done Yangarra!

Red cherry, cloves, black pepper. Intense fruits but with finesse.
