  There's a very light diesel/petrol note on both nose and palate, which is surprising coming from an American Pinot Gris. This wine is fresh, with lively lime and pear, and a hint of honeydew melon. Acidity is high, even bracing. It's a solid, citrusy white with some complexity, but doesn't quite cross the deliciousness threshold.
