Background: Wine growing in the family dates back to 1790. Brothers Philippe and Pierre Aubry with brother-in-law Noël Poret are joined by Phiippe's son Max in 2020. They continue to revive the "forgotten varietals", particularly Petit Meslier.
A(ccuray)=2: Bright lemon/yellow. Fine mousse, bit muted fragrance. B(alance)=3: Mature fruit base with vibrant acid structure. C(omplexity)=2: Apple, prune, brioche, spices. D(epth)=1: Savory mouthfeel. Good length and finish.

Fascinating and delicious at the same time. Its been a long time since having had this but makes me think back that this is probably their best bottle of Champagne.
