  Old world taste - lighter than our usual throw-downs, but probably nice in lieu of a puny Pinot Noir in the heat of a gulf coast summer.

  PnP. Color is deep ruby. On the nose: Dark chocolate, plum , pepper, cinnamon, violets and cassis. On the palate: Plum, dark chocolate, tart cassis. Finish is on short side. Solid wine. Worth trying.

  Just drink wine on 25th. Yummy bottle very fresh with good balance. Very nice mostly syrah. Can use good food (grilled sausage?)
