Tricky one. Relatively dry, medium tannic, medium acid.Initially too fruity and jammy for my palate. 2 hours in the decanter brings miracles. Fruit is still very concentrated but not over the top. After decanting, the finish has become a different league and is INCREDIBLY. On the palate blackberry and a bit of plum, no jam at all. To me, not much oak influence in there and it’s wonderfully integrated. It’s a VERY nice high quality fruity shiraz. Those who need detectable oak might not be happy with it but it’s such a smooth wine after decanting.
