  Bought 6 bottles at 50% sale at 19€/bottle. Opened the first one yesterday.
  
  From 30 year old vines in the Willunga area, 16 months maturation in French/American oak.
  2.5h decant, which worked well. Plush palate with cocoa, blueberries, licorice, smoke, violets, earthy notes, smooth tannins and some freshness (6.4 g/l TA vs 0.7 g/L RS).
  I am not yet at Parkers 93p or Sucklings 94p but it could get there in the next couple of years, as this bottle felt like very early drinking window. 91p+

  Typischer Aussie Shiraz. Sehr voluminös, schwer und dunkel. Würzige Mitte, langer Nachhall. Viel Bums, wenig Eleganz.
