Gave it lots of air, but still pretty tight. Very difficult to discern the two varietals. Certainly ok, but have had better with earlier vintages. Surprising this wasn’t fully developed at 6 years. Definitely different than red Rhone blends from France.

It was full bodied with medium tannins, over great quality. The fruit was balanced with some dark berries, currant and a hint of spice, however I did not like the aftertaste. I prefer the others like Dead Arm .

Memory of this admittedly hazy, but closer to the bottle that was good than the bottles that amazed me. Lean dark fruit offset with some bitterness.
