in the glass dark purple wth a garnet rim on the nose. cedar and spice, some dirt and earthiness typical of red mountain fruit. dark blue/black fruits.. think black plum and slightly overripe blackberries. on the palate fruits are the same but seem a bit fresher.. spice and medium plus acidity.. tannins are round and plush not grippy at all. beautiful wine with at least another 5 years to go. if you like the older tertiary style this could go another 15 years

Another phenomenal Merlot from Fidelitas! Bright and complex. a solid 2-3 years of bottle life remaining

This Merlot is just right with some mineral cherry cocoa with soft tannins and mild acid but the graphite tinged finish lingers nicely. Well done.
