  This limpid, straw-colored wine (sourced from multiple Napa Valley vineyards) is a worthy runner-up to its more esteemed estate-bottled sibling. Comprised of 100% Sauvignon Blanc that was aged for nine months in a combination of neutral oak barrels, concrete eggs and stainless steel tanks, it flaunts a bouquet of lemon verbena, white peaches, wet stones and dried herbs. Light-to-medium-bodied, crisply acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (14.4%) and with minimal detectable wood, it has good mid-palate density and finishes medium-to-long. Although this could be considered as Crocker & Starr's "second sting" Sauvignon Blanc, it is a quality white that demonstrates the art of skillful blending. Drink now-2025.

  Light to medium greenish yellow. Fresh and tropical nose with melon, cantaloupe and even some starfruits. Smooth and balanced acidity (5/10) with a medium light body. Super quaffable with citrus and stone fruits on the palate. Not much grass at all, very refreshing. Long finish, carried by the acidity. Drink till 2025.
