Another good bottle. This is very nice, probably as good as this estate could have done in that vintage. Classic Paulliac graphite, cigar box, tobacco and dark fruits on the nose. Leather, plum, tobacco on the palate. Racy acidic finish with sweet tannins. Probably drinking as well as it is going to. Great QPR at $16,

Already showing secondary characteristics, aromas of cedar, leather, and tobacco along with plum and black currant. Cedar and tobacco on the palate with dark fruits. Excellent wine, great value. Drink in the next five years, good cellar defender. 87-89 pts.
Day 2 - The fruit is much more present now and well integrated with the other flavors and aromas. Bump it to 89-90 pts. I still think the five year window is correct. Great everyday Bordeaux.
