Nice , rich wine with plenty of body. Strong and bold, lacking finesse but a wonderfully rich serenade of the taste buds, would benefit from rich meat. Finished after leaving with cork overnight, deteriorated greatly and ended too acidic. Not a match for pinot noir recently tasted.

No notes taken but remember this as not being your typical Aussie fruitbomb. Plenty of fruit but not over the top. Very well made and enjoyable.

Incredible balance - great spice and pepper balanced with nice berry fruit. Not your typical Austalian fruit bomb, but a complex, nice wine.

Leeuwin Estate Cellar Door Visit & Lunch (Margaret River, Western Australia): Dark purple. Nice nose - blackberry and oak. Rich, very warm flavors, almost sweet blackberries (though completely dry). Very nicely integrated tannins. Finishes with dark cherries. AU$34
