Apparently part of the big wine movement. but here the idea fresher and also, as a bonus, less expensive. Smells a touch of VA, but in kinda a fun way. Darn, that is really drinkable.

45/45/10 Grenache/Carignan/Mourvedre. Medium nose shows dark fruit, fresh earth. Palate is quite tasty for the style and price point, expressive fruit and medium plus tannins, spice layers, medium plus body. Great value.

50% Grenache, 40% Carignan, 10% Mourvedre. Paso Robles. Owner: Cris Cherry. Fresh cherry juice, light spices. Nice table wine.

Big Rhone Paso style. A little bit lighter handed than all of that. With some acidity. The Carignan showing off i would guess.
