Tasted at the Prince Wine Store Cotes du Rhone and beyond tasting, April 20, 2024. From the owners of the renowned Chateau de Beaucastel this is a blend of 40% Grenache, 40% Mourvedre and 20% Syrah matured in a mix of oak barrels and stainless steel vats for a period of 12 months. For me, this was the standout in a lineup of about 30 wines. A lovely well fruited, approachable wine. Not a keeper but wonderful QPR for the short term.

On the nose fresh blueberry. Interesting acidity that gets well integrated once the wine can develop in the glas. Present but pleasing oak. Following the TN of HALEY1199 16.05.23. Nice easy wine with solid bang for the buck.

From 75cl, P+P. As noted here on 28.09.2023. Yes, this is a solid CdR, and good value. No, it‘s not a 90P wine. If - like VINO777 (CT TN 08.12.2023) - you don’t understand why, I suggest taking a look at the CT guide to the 100P scale. 85-86P.
I don't understand the low ratings here. I expected an average wine at $12 but this blew me away. A lot of value here and solid fruit and balance. 90 all day long.
