  Turning a bit brick in color or tawney with some age. Aroma is of cranberry & earthy notes.. As it opened some notes of smoke came out. Enjoyed more & more through the glass..

  Deepish vibrant medium ruby. Solidly medium bodied, with very good intensity of classic savory pinot noir deep ripe cherries and red berries, just a bit of spice and earth to give it interest. Not thin but nice and viscous. 13.5% alcohol just right. Liked this alot and want to buy more. This wine leans fruit forward and ripe but it's not over-hot like I've found similar pinots coming from the New World can be.
  
  Paired w/ grilled salmon head and belly.
