Wow this was good. Sweet earthy compost, orange peel, blood orange, dried cherries, salty fermented anchovy, mushrooms.

Dry m+ acid, med tannins resolved, med alcohol on lowish side 12.5%, silky medium body, med+ intensity, med+ finish.

This has evolved beautifully in bottle into a balanced wine w complexity. Paired w mung bean and pork belly stew.

Med+/ deep ruby. M (-) on nose of ripe dark red fruits: black cherry, raspberry.

dry, med alcohol at 13.5%, med tannins that were ripe and soft, med/med+ acid, med+ body, med intensity, med finish.

flavors of ripe dark red fruits like black cherry and black raspberry. good mouthfeel-- coats mouth. Good fruit purity/quality and a hint of smokiness. went very easily and easily drinkable/quaffable/ refreshing w shrimp and pork picadinho at a rustic snack bar in arco de calheta.

Blend of Tinto Roriz, Touriga Franca and Tinta barocca, and it tasted like a blend.

    Straightforward, simple but done well.

very good QPR at EUR 10.

    Excellent wine.

Pale gold. Aromas and flavors of apples, peach, wet stones, with a touch of lactic/milky/ creamy sensations.

Dry, Med + acid, high alchol (14+%), med+ body, med+ intensity, med + length.

Tastes cool climate but its still rich with ripe fruit condition. There is some gentle exposure to oxygen here, and the high alcohol and lees work give this an extra dimension of body/ texture.

This wine had the richness/ heft and and also agility and cleansing acid to handle a diverse table of Filipino foods (pancit noodles, bistec, chicaron bulaklak, braised pork belly) really well. A very nice lateral to a Russian River Valley Chard or Village Cote de Beaune.
