Drinking well. Pelaverga tends to be something to drink young, but this shows no signs of fading just yet. Still pleasant strawberry fruit, bramble, and black pepper..

Prior bottle was just over a year ago and my notes were very much in line with expectations. Red cherry, mineral and earth notes on the nose with the same mix of brighter, more mineral-driven mountain influence and slightly darker, more savory aromatic qualities. Light bodied with red berries and red cherry again the dominant fruit notes. Nice brightness upfront as well as a bit of additional depth and character through the mid-body. This contrasts well with the balanced tannins and acidity as well as mineral accented tart red cherry on the backside. That mountain berry qualities of red berries and minerals shows up strongly on the finish. Overall, showing quite well and clearly has the elements to remain enjoyable through at least the next 18+ months. I'll save my last bottle until at least early Q2 2024.

Bit of a strange showing on this bottle in that it had all of the pepper but none of the berry fruit. Blind I'd have called this Pineau d'Aunis from the Loire. Still pleasant, if you like the style, but I'll hope the remaining bottles show more fruit, because the combination of berries and pepper are what typically make this so fun and enjoyable.

This was really interesting. So light as to be almost rose. Spicy, good acid and light fruit. Great pairing with tuna in a fresh tomato sauce on pasta. Interesting grape!

dusty red berry, earthy spice, tiny forest floor. Juicy, red berry fruit is lightweight, fleshy, silky whisper on the back of the palate, simple. Yum.
