Tasted at winery. Drouhin said this NSG 1er cru did not specify any vineyards because winemaker blended a few of them, and therefore a cuvee. This allowed the winemaker to play with the wine more.
Pink rim, ruby red. Fresh redcurrant, strawberry, tobacco and rain forest. Quite tannic, and long cognac finish.

a blend of Vaucrains and Damodes; dark fruit with violet and spice notes; a bit of damp earth and underbrush; good density on the palate, structured and maybe slightly heavy currently, but still enjoyable with food; should improve with age
