  This wine has held up surprisingly well for its age. Good seal. Some musty odors on the nose with a thin, austere palate upon opening, but much improved after an hour or so in the decanter, with added weight and plum and leather flavors. Way past its prime but still enjoyable. I've had very little experience with aged Bordeaux, but this surpassed my expectations.
