  Quite open already from start, but a few hours of air is an advantage. Tannins already well integrated, great balanced by the fruit which is a bit linear, elegance over complexity. Very typical Nebbiolo both on nose and palate. Good length.

  Il vino non è fatto male, e il produttore ha sicuramente un nome di peso, ma manca di tutto quello che fa emozionare. Manca di classe, di riconoscibilità, di piacevolezza, di finezza per non parlare dell’eleganza. Se poi pensiamo al prezzo, non ci siamo proprio. Non si va lontano così.

  PnD. Very nice traditional Nebbiolo. Firm structure with rich fruit unfolding over the course of the evening. Would be better to decant a couple hours ahead. A big example of its type you might say. When Giacosa Barolo and Barbaresco are way into a 3-figure price tag, it's worth having several bottles of their NdA to track over time. Was interesting next to the 2021 G.D. Vajra which was more primary, fruit forward, and juicy, but clearly less complexity.

  This wine needed half to an hour to open. Nice body structure with complexities. Beautiful cherry fruitiness with distinct earthy and leathery-woody tones. Very fine and dry, not too fat. Second day were even more enjoyable. I wish I could wait to consume it on the 3rd or even 4th day.

  Better after 30+ mins in decanter. Food wine. I picked up a little of the green, bitter notes referred to in an earlier review, but less so after decanting.
