Opend as a trial for GUWS tasting. Shy nose which opend to give hints of forrest floor and (strangely) hints of lilac. On th apalate, silky tannins and smooth mouth feel. Raspberries and then hints of sour cherries on a long finish. Interesting

Dark nose of plum and black cherry, with spicy notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. Dark flavours of prune, blackberry, and tarragon. Palate shows light, woody tannin and a touch of sap.

Tasmanian Pinot Noir Fair 2021 (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Pretty, jubey, whole berry with partial whole bunch underpin lending ashy notes. clean nose other than this. Wet and skinny though not really sour, fruit less generous here, white pepper joins on the finish. Meh.
