  The wine appears clear, with medium intensity, and ruby color. Hardly any sediment. Clean on the nose, medium+ intensity, primary aroma is red fruited, tertiary characteristics are starting to show, earthy and dusty. The wine is fully developed. On the palate, the wine is dry, with medium acidity, medium- tannin, and medium alcohol. Medium body, medium+ intensity. Primary red fruit flavor characteristics dominate, red cherry and raspberry, a hint of stems is fading. Tertiary flavors underneath, a savory, meaty undertone. Long finish. Very good quality, can drink now, with limited potential for further aging.

  Drank over two days. Medium to light body. Fruit forward with balancing acidity and restrained (for California) alcohol. 13.9% ABV. Not much change in the second day.
