This is my second Pelassa in a couple of days and I can't say that I'm impressed. Or interested. Sharp, acidic, maybe tannic, with the fruit buried under that. I have one more bottle of another varietal and unless there is a major sea change wouldn't bother with Pelassa again.

Fruitily cherry with hint of plum but not overwhelmingly fruity. Medium tanin and full bodied. It's a good wine and good value if you get it in Europe (and UK). Once exported to another continent, it's probably less palatable compared to a local red.
