The nose on this wine is like an odd combination of Sauvignon Blanc and Torrontes. It’s incredibly fresh, with sea stone minerality and notes of gooseberries and limes. All this is countered by a tropical fruit quality, with passion fruit and guava tones.
The palate enters on lime, gooseberry, honey, and sea stone. A faintly bitter herbal component combines with cracked pepper and something very light smokiness at the mid palate. Around the edges and into the finish there is a floral, minerally quality. This wine is incredibly fresh and mineral toned, with a nice balance between tartness and just enough ripeness. It’s not Grüner Veltliner at its most complex, but it’s a good place to start and a great option for when you’re looking for something light and crisp.
A little refreshing with lime spritz, but if it wasn't for the spritz and the neon green-tinted yellow color I'd have said it was a chardonnay, based on it's smell and taste; it's also a bit on the flabby side. I remember drinking this a year ago and thinking how much more excited about it I was.

Just sort of OK. Some spritz, some pepper and minerals, but overly broad on the palate. It's better than most sauvignon blanc at this price point ($13) but this nevertheless may be suffering from the vintage's ripe conditions.

Fine summer wine. A bit fizzy which makes it even more light and fresh. Scents of grass and hay lead the way. Great sip for hot summer nights.
