  Such a beneficial first encounter with Anthonij Rupert - highly commanded by Sir @André M. Deep ruby in the glass. Nose bursts with darkish fruits - blackcurrant, plums, dark cherries, spice, leather, smoke, violets, dark chocolate - ultra-classic aromas. Palate is medium+-bodied, extremely elegant, up-front chewy tannins, progressing into lovely structure, balanced acidity and fruit-forward, yippee mouthfeel throughout, backbone fairly relaxed oak. Finishes on a tannic-dry, spicy and smoky note.
