  • Popped and poured, served with a bolognese. The wine in the glass is dark ruby.

On the nose: this obviously needs opening up, all I'm getting is raspberry pie with an overpowering vanilla/buttery pie crust.

On the palate: grippy tannins, will take years to resolve. Lovely acidity with unripe strawberries, plum skins, sharp spice, and a herbal Chianti note that I love. The finish goes on and on! A whole lot of potential with this wine!
