This clone is a offspring of Nebbiolo and Barbera, but I felt mostly Barbera in it. On the nose I got blackberries and plums, and a hint of beef stock (?). On the palate it was quite fruity, but not so much structure and a somewhat unpleasant acidity. There was something that made the wine feel like it didn't gel, if that makes sense. I guess it was unbalanced. Pity.

Tycker det luktar typisk nebbiolo lång väg, men med en underton av aceton. Smakar mer nebbiolo än barbera. Medium-kropp med ok frukt och ganska hög syra, medium-tanniner. Smaken hänger i bra. Lätt att dricka, no more, no less.

Nose: Clay, some wood, dusty cherries. A hint of pickled onions.
Palate: Soft entry that turns dry. Tannins that come and go. No fruit to speak of, just a bit green on the aftertaste.
