Very beautiful bottle. A blend of grand cru gewurtztraminer and grand cru riesling from Altenberg de Bergheim, a muschelkalk terroir. 2.2% residual sugars. Beautiful nose injects hope. Mouth bland and far too sweet. No detectable minerality or anything, okay then there are ripe yellow apples. Disappointed. Later note: Palate emerged like a gewurtztraminer, more flowers and fruit. Acidity backbone could be more present. We cannot feel the riesling component enough.
Still disappointed, avoid.

Excellent wine. Combination of sweetness, acidity and freshness. Not too sweet, long aftertaste of ananas and lichies. Great balance.
