  • Plum, lots of briny black olive, smoked meat, wild flowers and a hint of apricot pit. Good energy on the palate. The finish shows rather dry (in typical Lazy Creek style). Needs another 2-3 years at least.

  • I love what this winery does with gewurztraminer. This is the first red of theirs that I've tried. Dark and opaque with a beautiful deep blue color. Dark chocolate over raspberries with a light floral note on the nose that makes this a wonderful wine. Silky enough to not overwhelm lighter foods, but deep and rich enough to manage strong flavors. Just enough tannins to give this wine some presence. Time for me to place another order with these folks.
