So smooth and transparent in its palette of flavours, a marmelade-like mix yet quite fresh. I would have liked a little more oak, but I should perhaps have opened a chard instead then.
The wine would clearly benefit from more time on the shelf, since the complextity was just hinted at, although growing with time in glass and bottle.
91 with double plusses if you favour the "oaklessness" and give it more time.

Classically chenin nose, rocky, wooly, enticing, beautifully flavored, with nice depth and intensity, lovely saline kicks in early, along with strong acidity. This has so much vibrancy, flavor, interest, complexity, savoriness, really a wonderful Chenin Blanc.

Natural farming. Chenin Blanc from 45 years old vines, aged 18 months partly in stainless steel and in barrique, 14% vol.
Opened at lunch time, enjoyed in the evening together with a tarte aux poires with Gorgonzola. Starts a bit thin but gets better with every sip. Shows lime, good minerality and indeed a suggestion of rhubarb, on the palate fresh and dry, nice bitter note, promising structure, medium length. If there is any oak, it is perfectly integrated.
Already very good, but still a baby and will be much better in a couple of years, potential for 93 points, a pity that I bought only a half case...

Straw colour with hint of green, nice honeyd nose with citrus background, spot on acidity and a honeyed mouthfull with a little spice and lemon, very nice wine. I had several earlier vintages from this domaine and if there is a problem it is the variability one year to the next, I also question the famed longevity as I again have had a couple struggling to stay drinkable and failing in under ten years, maybe I was unlucky. This is the best bottle from that source I have drunk.

Still an amazing wine.
Floral, waxy, yellow fruits, a hint of something exotic. Full bodied with a length of flavours.
