  Nice acidity with tart cherry, raspberry, new leather and a mineral finish. With air, black pepper emerges.
  Little residual sugar so it drinks fairly balanced. More old world (Southern Rhône - Gigondas) than new world. A good QPR for $15. Drink or hold.

  Wow... great nose an hour after decanting... cedar, tobacco, cigar smoke, leather, berry nose, lovely deep, dark red colour, lovely mid weight berry fruit, not a big fruit bomb you might expect, almost seems older than its vintage, berry fruits blue and red, choc blueberry pie flavours, cola, bitter choc and cacao... good balanced acidity and tannins... good length... great QPR!
