Gave it 45 minutes in the decanter. This is a dark colored wine with some power behind it like wines from the Anderson Valley typically have. However it is very easy to drink with cherry on the front and a loverly voluptuous finish! Am going to try and leave the other bottles from this vintage in the cellar as it should keep aging nicely and could be spectacular in 3-5 years but it’ll be hard to keep them that long!

Short decant (30 min.) Loveley nose of violets, pomegranate and spice. Medum/light weight on the palate with lovely balance. Light red fruits and licorice. A good finish with some spices. Easy to drink now, really delicious, but will easily hold for 5-6 years.

This is obviously young, driven by red fruits, delicious now. Hard to wait, but 6+ yrs would probably turn this into an exceptional Pinot. I only have one more bottle and I should probably hide it so I don't just open it now !

Opened for 30 minutes prior to consuming. Been a year since had the first of this vintage and it was time well spent in the cellar! Nice dark ruby color like many wines from the Anderson valley. It was. A powerful, robust Pinot with plenty of cherry on the front end and some lighter raspberry/cherry on the backend. Easy to drink with a lingering finish that’ll have you wanting more. Plenty of life left in the bottle so will give it another 9-12 months before trying another. That being said, it’s drinking very well right now.
