  The shelf talker rating at Costco was 90 from the WE, we have very different palates or got very different bottlings. Lots of sweet toasted cherry ( tastes overripe to me and a bit high in alcohol). Label says plums so that could be the other thing. A bit of sour cherry on the finish.
  
  Will be gifting the 2nd bottle I purchased to friends who love Apothic Red. If you enjoy that style or the bourbon barrel trend I think you will like this.
