Wine Enthusiast gave this a 92 and says to let it age a bit. The bottle I picked up from costco was very different than that. The wine had almost zero tannins. I let it breath and got some nice fruit and that was about it. Tasted like a decent somewhat fruity light red blend, not what I was looking for to go with a nice steak. Day two took one sip and poured it out. Nothing was left but sour cherry. . Precision products are always hit and miss, lately for me, a lot more misses. 12.99 at my Costco with the usual made up inflated retail price and the huge discount I also always associated with Precision. I did have a Precision cab once that was a steal, so I now buy one of most to try if the Cellar Tracker reviews are ok.

Local costco had this at 14.99. Now another reviewer found it for 8.99 and at that price it is a bargain. However at 14.99 not so much, for me anyway. James Suckling 93 pts and a top 100 from Chili stickers on the bottle. With Suckling I always reduce the number by 5 so I was expecting about an 88 pt wine. I opened this to have with a steak and found it to have very very soft if any tannins and little oak. Which is not what I want with a steak. Good burger wine with all the fruit. I opened another bottle and put this aside. As I said I am not a fan of fruit forward ( fruity) Cab. I am starting to avoid any wine rated by Jamessuckling without the backing of other critics or people in the cellartracker community.
