  • I totally underestimated this bottle, much better than I remember it being a few months ago. Dark red and blue fruits, soft, but pronounced tannins; delicious. This will improve a little with age, most notably with regards to tannin integration but drinking great now. I wish I had more left …

  • Really nice after a 1 hour decant. A powerful yet elegant nose with rose petals and dark fruits. Black cherry, black currant and herbs on the plate. Velvety tannins with a long, lingering finish.

  • Really nice and lots of depth and complexity. Aerated for 30 min

  • Better days are ahead for this wine, I find it really primary at this stage. It has the stuffing but it needs more time for resolution. On the nose, fragrant aromatics with a reddish purple translucent color. On the palate evolving sweet berry fruits, cherry and blackberry fruit that will require more time to integrate as I see it. This will show nicely with a long decant in the short haul but you will be rewarded if you allow a little time for cellaring. I fine is somewhat typical with the Tor label. I didn't decant this wine, more of a slow ox and it did improve over a couple of days of consumption. Personally, I'd wait on this wine and I expect a real positive upside. 90+/91 Points.

Day 2: Shows a pretty nice turn after a couple of days for the better. This vintage started off very restricted but did improve with some air (slow-ox) and showed well with food. It's a pretty solid wine. I purchased 4 bottles and I probably won't open another bottle anytime soon. 92+ Points. I guess patience and air paid off.

  • Easy, drinkable cab. Drink these while you’re aging the unreal Black and Pure Magics, and compromise 0.
