A floral nose with rose stems, raw licorice, rocks, almond and black pepper.
The palate had rose stems, honey, roasted tomate stems, jubilant red berries and a long, stemmy finish. Very good freshness, never heavy, quite a different Spanish red, should cellar well.

Red cherry fruit - not too extracted, not sweet in style, more puristic and cool with layered herbs and even a meaty complexity. Palate was well-balanced even if a bit rustic at this stage. This is sophisticated and doesn‘t care about what the crowd thinks. There is depth which is further supported by earthy undertones on the palate which accentuates the fruit and terroir.
SLDS September 2022: Blackberry, ash, meat and cherry on the nose. Savoury on the palate with some herbs and spice. Nicely put together and good interest even at this young stage.
