Ap No. 6. Rich, ripe apple/peach fruit cut by powerful, blazing Saar acid that turns citrusy/orangey/grapefruity through the midpalate. Both the fruit and acid are intense but they play off each other wonderfully and the combo is in balance; this is gulpably drinkable despite the intensity. Yum. Not the most complex spatlese ever but still really good.

Dam this is good and even better when you bring it's pricing into the equation, loaded tropical fruit and mineral driven nose, great upfront fruit on the attack, with the medium plus acidity playing support carries this through the nice long finish dam sorry this is my last bottle but looking forward the the 15 version

While I have to say Germany in general is the best price/quality wine region this house has to be up there at the top of that ratio, nice mix of tropical, honeycomb and green apple notes, with supporting minerals and zippy acidity, elegant mouthfeel and texture with a spiciness to the medium plus length finish

Superb Spätlese, and just a crazy good value. The fruit here is incredibly fresh and racy, and beneath is a vivid stony mineral character. Time and air bring out more floral and faintly herbal nuances, and there's just a faint hint of sweetness - a bit more than halbtrocken, but perfectly balanced by the bracing acids. Fantastic wine.

Rieslingfeier Grand Tasting (New York City, NY): One of my favourite Spätlesen today. So much tension and white-hot acidity and minerality. Lots of life and electricity with ample fruit as well.
